Every child deserves to begin the school year with confidence, dignity, and the knowledge that their community cares about them. Through the 906 Foundation’s Backpacks & Badges program, local law enforcement officers come together with community partners to provide backpacks, school supplies, and encouragement to children and families who need it most.

What makes this program truly special is the opportunity for positive, personal connections between officers and the young people they serve. A simple conversation, a shared smile, or a helping hand can leave a lasting impression on a child. Backpacks & Badges helps build trust, strengthen relationships, and remind our youth that there are people in their community who believe in them and are invested in their success.
